But wasn't I in for a treat! With bold references to everything 'Queensland', it brought back memories of growing up there. I couldn't put it down! Helen has given each character has their own unique traits, and I couldn't help falling in love with them all. Hey Helen, I just finished your book and I love it. I didn't want to put it down, but twice I had to because it was getting so late at night and I had a headache from being so tired. Loved the characters and the setting and the overall feel of the story. Review by Monica
The Beach House is a collection of five characters' different experiences associated with their stay in an iconic beach house is a small seaside town. It will take you back to that great beach holiday you always remember. It has a great engaging flow and is easy to read, but you can't put it down as well. Also the references to the eras (eg the 1990s) are spot on and will take you back to that time in your life! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did. |
